General

  • Pets (Housekeeping Fee*) welcome ~ in specific pet friendly cottages  please, no visiting pets

SaltyRose is pet friendly - we have a small charge of $10*/night/per pet/ or $50*/week for your pet.
Please bring your own pet bedding and blankets or crate to help them feel at home. For larger dogs - one per cottage.
We kindly ask to refrain from allowing your pet on any of the cottage furniture or bedding, you may incur a charge, if additional cleaning is required.
*for pets up to 50 pounds, all others require prior arrangement

Our cottages are self-catering and we kindly ask that guests leave it in a suitable state otherwise aditional cleaning fees may apply.

 

Arrival & departure times

Our preferred arrival time in the summer is between 3 pm and 7 pm.
If you will be arriving after 7 pm or before 3 pm, please call in advance to make arrangements for early or late check-in.

Check-out is by 10 am in the summer please

 

Deposits Required

& Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change or unfortunate events do happen and we will do our best to accomodate our guests. Because of our small size and being a destination location, cancellations do affect us greatly. We ask that you please, be sure of your travel plans before booking. A deposit of 50% confirms your reservation of two nights or more One night reservations require prepayment in full.
Cancellations (excluding Summer Reservations):
Non-Summer Refund of deposits (minus a $10/night cancellation fee) will be made if cancellations are received 14 days in advance of arrival date for daily reservations and 30 days prior to arrival date for weekly reservations or any holiday reservations (including long weekends) otherwise, your deposit is forfeited.
Summer reservations - policy advised at time of reservation
Group reservations - refund of deposits (minus 10% cancellation fee) notice time frame is reservation specific.

Visa, Mastercard, Interac etransfer or cheque may be used for deposits

 

Guests should note the arrival and departure dates on their confirmation carefully, if a guest arrives after the date specified, does not arrive or departs before the final day of the reservation, they are responsible for the total cost of the dates reserved. Please understand, a deposit assures you that your accommodation will be available as confirmed and insures us the accommodation is sold as confirmed. Therefore, when situations arise necessitating your cancellation, within the quoted summer policy or the 14 or 30 day limit, we do sympathize, but we must maintain our business policy. Please note, bad weather, snowstorms or hurricanes; or significant threat of bad weather do not negate our cancellation policies. Storms / hurricanes are an act of nature and  unpredictable. If you are concerned, please take out Travel Insurance for this type of unforeseen event.
